Join us at Hepple for a tour of our unique distilling operation where we produce the award winning Hepple Estate Spirits, including Hepple Gin. With flavours reflective of the local area, including botanicals from the site itself, Hepple Gin is an intense yet elegant reinvention of the classic gin. Perfect in a martini or in a classic G&T. As well as Gin, we also produce our own Sloe & Hawthorn Gin, Wheat Vodka, Douglas Fir Vodka, Aquavit and a pre-made Negroni.

Hepple gin overlooking the wild estate

The approximately two and a half hour tour will include an introduction to the history of the gin world, and gin production here at Hepple, before an explore of some of the wild space that Hepple calls home, and sustainably harvests botanicals from. We will also visit the Hepple Juniper nursery, where we are growing young juniper saplings to plant back out onto the moorland and grow the population. The tour continues into the heart of our gin production; the Hepple Spirits Distillery. Here you will see and learn about each of the three stages of our unique production; our copper pot still, vacuum still and supercritical extraction technology. Samples of up to three Hepple Spirits products are included during the tour and there is an alternative package for non-drinkers/drivers which includes local soft drinks. All of our products are available for purchase after the tour, with a distillery discount.

The Hepple estate is also home to the Hepple Wilds rewilding project - a bold and exciting changing of the landscape across 4000 acres of upland habitat around the distillery. The wild and rugged nature of this landscape, and the freshness of life held within, is encapsulated in the flavour of Hepple Spirits and during your visit you will be able to see all of this for yourself.
